There are several different types of hotels from 3 star to 5 star. The amenities and accommodations will be different as w
ell as the furnishings in each hotel. If you prefer a hotel, it would be best to first learn what area of Hamburg you would like as your center spot so you will be close to public transportation, the attractions you wish to visit, or be as close as possible to the convention.
Resorts & Spas
Hamburg also offers resorts with several amenities including spas, beauty salons, bars, swimming pools, and just about everything else you can think of to make your feel like royalty.
Bed & Breakfast
Couples that want to get away from it all, so to speak, often use bed and breakfast. These are individuals that have turned their large homes in accommodations, which mean you will have a room of your room. You may have to share bathroom facilities with others that are also staying at the Bed & Breakfast, or some rooms may have their own bathroom. You will also receive at least breakfast in the morning and in some dinner is also served. You just have to decide the amenities you desire and if you want that cozy homey feeling instead of a hotel room.
Hostels
Hostels have become quite popular especially for those that are backpacking across Europe or are traveling alone. Hostels often have bunk beds where all guests stay in one large room and only one bathroom facility is available. Of course, this is more than likely the cheapest way to go, but you will certainly not have privacy, but will meet quite a few new people on your adventures.
